Kimberly Diane "Kim" Craig' is a character portrayed by Gina Riley on the Australian sit-com Kath & Kim. The character had previously appeared on Fast Forward, Big Girl's Blouse and the short-lived Something Stupid. Kim's character is considered an Australian Comedy Icon.
Selma Blair portrayed her in the American version of Kath & Kim.
Physical Appearance
Kim is an overweight Australian female with long brown hair and a fringe. She has blue eyes. Kim often wears cropped t-shirts that show off her large belly. Though self-conscious about her weight, Kim eats frequently.
Personality
Kim is a very lazy woman often slacking off and making her second best friend Sharon do all the work for her.
Biography
Just after she was born, Kim's father, Gary, left her and Kath to be with Wendy Patterson.
Kim attended Fountain Lakes High, but dropped out in Year 10.
Relationships
Brett Craig
Brett is Kim's husband. They were newly married at the start of the series, and Kim left him soon after. Kim only shows Brett affection when she wants something. Brett cheats on her multiple times, however they always make amends.
Kath Day-Knight
Kath Day-Knight is Kim's mother. The two often fight about various things and Kath frequently points out that Kim is overweight. Kim continues to move back in with Kath and Kel.
Sharon
Sharon Strzelecki is Kim's "second best friend". Kim takes advantage of Sharon, showing little respect for her.
Kel
Kel Knight is Kim's stepfather. From the beginning, Kim had an instant dislike of Kel. Kim and Kel don't often interact with one another, but when they do, the scene becomes completely awkward. Kim dislikes that Kel is now the focus of Kath, as she likes to always be the centre of attention in every situation.
Cujo
Cujo is Brett's rottweiler. Cujo and Kim dislike one another. In a Season 2 episode, Kim taps on the door and says to Cujo, "It's all right Cujo it's just Kimmy," to which Cujo then starts barking at Kim.
